DocuClipper ingests documents from watched cloud folders (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Box), from email and Gmail attachments, from mobile photo capture, from the REST API, and from direct upload in the dashboard. Files from any of these sources are processed the same way.
You connect a cloud storage account via OAuth and choose one or more folders to watch. When a new document appears in a watched folder, DocuClipper automatically detects it, classifies the document type, extracts the data, and makes the structured output available for export. Nothing outside the watched folders is accessed.
No. DocuClipper detects the document type automatically, so a single folder or inbox can receive bank statements, invoices, receipts, checks, and tax forms mixed together. Each file is classified and routed to the right extraction pipeline on its own.
Extracted data is available in your DocuClipper account for export to Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, Xero, or Google Sheets. You can also use the API and webhooks to push results into any downstream system automatically as soon as processing completes.
Yes. Cloud folder connections use OAuth 2.0, so no passwords are stored and access is scoped to the specific folders you choose and revocable at any time. All documents are processed over encrypted connections.
Yes. You can watch several folders across different providers, accept email attachments, and push documents via the API all into the same DocuClipper account. Ingestion source is independent of how the data is extracted and exported.
