Automations: Box

This guide covers the Box specifics for an automation.

Connect Box

1. Open Automations → New automation.
2. Pick your document type, then choose Box as the input.
3. Click Connect Box and authorize DocuClipper in the Box OAuth screen.
4. Pick the folder to watch once you return.

How it works

• DocuClipper polls the watched folder on the automation's schedule.
• Files that have already been processed are skipped.
• Converted output can land in a separate Box folder, or be posted to a webhook.

Enterprise Box notes

For Box Business / Enterprise tenants, a Box admin may need to pre-approve DocuClipper in the Box Admin Console before individual users can connect. Ask your Box admin to approve the app if the OAuth flow fails with a "Requires admin approval" error.
