Download a Report as PDF or Excel
Download a project's report from the Report sub-tab: a PDF with a cover page, one page per report and a document appendix, or an Excel workbook with one sheet per report.
Last updated
Every project's report can be downloaded in two formats:
- PDF, to send to a client, a partner or a reviewer
- Excel, one sheet per report, for your own working papers
Downloads use no pages, and you can download again whenever the project changes.
How to download
- Open the project and go to Bank/CC Transactions > Advanced Analysis, which opens on the Report sub-tab.
- Click Download PDF or Download Excel above the report.

The file holds the reports that are on in the project's Reports list, as they are when you click. Download again after you add a statement or correct a transaction.
What is in the PDF
- Cover page: the DocuClipper logo, the project's folder and name, the number of documents, the statement dates covered, when the report was generated, and each report included with its headline.
- One page per report: its headline, the documents and statement dates it is based on, key numbers, the items that need attention and its tables. A table that runs onto the next page repeats its title and column names there.
- Appendix: every document in the project with its type, page count, statement period and whether it reconciles, plus its authenticity score when the Authenticity report is included.
- Footer on every page: when the report was generated, the project's folder and name, and the page number, so a printed copy can be traced back to the project.

Account numbers in the PDF show only their last 4 digits, for example Account …4417.
What is in the Excel workbook
One sheet per report, named after it (for example Packet summary, Coverage, Transfers and Recurring). Each sheet starts with the report's headline and its numbers, followed by each of its tables, so you can filter, sort and add your own working columns. The transactions themselves stay available from Bank/CC Transactions as Excel, CSV, QuickBooks or Xero exports.
FAQs
Can I send the PDF report to my client?
Yes. The PDF is laid out to be read without DocuClipper: a cover page with the summary, one page per report and an appendix listing every document.
Does downloading a report use pages?
No. Pages are counted only when statements are converted.
Why doesn't the download include a statement I just added?
The file reflects the project when you click. Wait for the new statement to finish converting, then download again.
