Matching & Reconciling Transactions

Review, include/exclude, and reconcile the transactions DocuClipper extracted from your bank statements.

After you convert a batch of bank statements, every extracted transaction lands in the Transactions view (/tl). This is where you review totals, exclude outliers, flip signs, and get the data ready for export or analysis.

Opening the view

  1. Open a project that has at least one converted statement.
  2. Click Transactions in the left sidebar — or open a single statement and click View all transactions.

What you can do

  • Filter by account, date range, amount, description, or status.
  • Include / exclude rows — excluded rows are kept for audit but removed from totals, exports, and advanced analysis.
  • Flip sign — if OCR captured a debit as positive (or vice versa), toggle the sign in bulk.
  • Bulk edit — select multiple rows and edit description, category, or account in one pass.
  • Corrections log — every edit is tracked so you can see what changed from the raw OCR.

Exporting

Click Download to export the visible (filtered) rows to Excel, CSV, QuickBooks, or Xero. Exports respect your include/exclude state — excluded rows are not sent.
