DocuClipper

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an authenticator app as a second login factor to protect your DocuClipper account.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step at login. After entering your password, you'll also enter a one-time code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).

Admin access required. The 2FA setup screen is only visible to contract admins and DocuClipper support staff. If you don't see it in Settings, contact your account admin.

Setting up 2FA

  1. Go to Settings (/account). If you are an admin, you will see a Two-Factor Auth entry in the section list.
  2. Click Two-Factor Auth.
  3. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.) and scan the QR code shown on screen. Or enter the secret key manually.
  4. The authenticator app will show a 6-digit code. Enter it in the Verification code field and click Verify.
  5. Once verified, 2FA is active. You will be asked for a code on every subsequent login.

Logging in with 2FA enabled

  1. Enter your email and password as normal.
  2. When prompted, open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code.
  3. Codes refresh every 30 seconds. If the code fails, wait for the next one.

Disabling 2FA

On the Two-Factor Auth settings page, click Disable two-factor authentication. You will be asked to confirm with a verification code from your authenticator app.

If you have lost access to your authenticator app, contact support@docuclipper.com to recover access.
