Jobs Are Missing
Jobs can disappear from DocuClipper for a few reasons: retention policy, account switching, or filtering. Here's how to find them or restore access.
Last updated
If a job you converted earlier has disappeared, one of these is almost always the cause.
1. Retention policy
DocuClipper keeps jobs for a fixed period depending on your plan:
| Plan | Retention |
|---|---|
| Starter / Free Trial | 30 days |
| Professional | 30 days |
| Business | 2 years |
| Enterprise | 5 years |
After that window, jobs are automatically purged. If you still have the original PDF, re-upload it; conversion produces the same output.
2. You're signed in under a different account
If your team has multiple DocuClipper accounts (e.g. personal + company), the job lives under whichever account uploaded it. Check the email on the top-right profile menu. Log out and back in under the right account.
3. You're viewing the wrong project or folder
Jobs are grouped by project. From the sidebar, click All files and expand each folder; your job may be inside a project you didn't realize you created.
You can also check Job history for a full list of everything you've converted. See How to access job history.
4. Filters are hiding them
The transactions view has filters (date range, account, status). If you set one earlier it may still be applied. Click Clear filters at the top of the grid.
5. A teammate deleted the project
Project deletion is permanent and affects everyone on the team. Check with your team admin to confirm whether a project was deleted. Deleted projects cannot be recovered. If you still have the original PDFs, re-uploading them produces the same output.
Still can't find it?
Email support@docuclipper.com with the approximate upload date, the filename if you remember it, and the account email. We can check server logs.
